Ritwik Bhowmik, an Indian actor renowned for his roles as Radhe in “Bandish Bandits” and Sanket Bhadoria in “The Whistleblower” and “Cargo” (2019), started his acting journey at the tender age of 9, performing in live stage shows and various plays.
With a repertoire of 17 theatrical productions including “Charlie And The Tin Can” and appearances in 6 short films like “Sleep” and “Gamble of Flesh,” Bhowmik gradually established himself in the entertainment realm. He later joined the Bridging Gaps Entertainment production house and made his digital debut in 2017 with the TVF web series “Office VS Office.”
In 2019, Bhowmik ventured into films with his lead role in the Bengali drama “Dhuusar” as Shiladitya Guha. He expanded his presence in the digital sphere with appearances in the Netflix show “Gabru” and several videos for FilterCopy Talkies.
His breakout year came in 2020 with the music-based web series “Bandish Bandits” on Amazon Prime, where he portrayed the lead character Radhe Rathore opposite Shreya Chaudhary.
Continuing his streak, Bhowmik starred in Amazon Prime Video’s anthology series “Modern Love Mumbai” opposite Masaba Gupta in 2022, followed by “Maja Ma” alongside Barkha Singh.
