Rishabh Anupam Sahay

Biography:

Rishabh Anupam Sahay is a multi-talented filmmaker, writer, lyricist, and producer who resides in Mumbai, India. He is a man of many talents whose works revolve around movies, advertisements, visual arts, music, and design. With a career of over 17 years in the creative world, he has been a director and producer of many ads for different brands including Adidas, Raymond, Louis Philippe, Taj Hotels, and Nadir Italy.

He has also worked on many short films which include On the Death of a Poet (2014) and Raven (2022), where the latter was a selection at London Fashion Film Festival and La Jolla Fashion Film Festival. His photographic work has also gained international acclaim with Autumn Eulogy series being awarded at Prix de la Photographie Paris (PX3).

Sahay has gained popularity for his long-form narratives in recent times through Salt City, a family drama which aired on SonyLIV and was written, directed and co-produced by him in collaboration with Applause Entertainment and Sunshine Productions. The 7-episode drama features Piyush Mishra, Divyenndu, Gauahar Khan, and Monica Chaudhary who play the Bajpai family amidst complicated relationships set in the city of Mumbai. He has directed all the seven episodes of this drama.
