Biography:

Indian actress Shivani Desai, better known by her stage name Rashami Desai, was born on February 13, 1986. She has received numerous honors, including Gold Awards and two Indian Television Academy Awards. She has made a name for herself as one of the most well-liked and well-paid TV actors.

In the Assamese town of Nagaon, Rashami Desai was born Shivani Desai on February 13, 1986  She is originally from Gujarat.[10] Gaurav Desai is her brother. Desai was raised in Mumbai, where she also completed her undergraduate studies. Rashami attended Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai to obtain a certificate in tours and travels.

Desai began her acting career in regional language movies before making her television debut in Hindi with Raavan (2006) and later playing two parts in Pari Hoon Main (2008). Her prominent role as Tapasya Thakur in Colors TV’s enduring serial opera Uttaran (2009-2014) brought her enormous fame and numerous awards. Desai also appeared in the 2012 movie Dabangg 2 and appeared in the reality series Zara Nachke Dikha 2 (2010), Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 (2012), Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 6 (2015), and Nach Baliye 7 (2015). With reality series like Comedy Circus Mahasangram (2010), Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala (2011), Kahaani Comedy Circus Ki (2012), and Comedy Nights Live (2016), she made her foray into stand-up comedy.
