Ramya Subramanian

Biography:

Ramya Subramanian is an Indian actress and TV Host known for her work in the Tamil film industry. Ramya studied at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan until 10th grade. Then she graduated from high school at Adarsh Vidyalaya. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication from M.O.P Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai. From there, she went on to earn a master’s degree in journalism and mass communication. Ramya is known for participating in the “Miss” Chennai contest in 2004, finishing among the finalists. She then found out after marriage that she would drop TV duties and become more and more selective with her work.
In 2015, she rebuilt cinema when she appeared as Dulquer Salmaan’s companion, Ananya, in Mani Ratnam’s O Kadhal Kanmani (2015). She then joined an RJ at BIG FM 92.7 on WE Magazine’s Outstanding Health Issues front for the August 2019 issue.
