Ramjagan

Actor

Biography:

Ramjagan, a renowned figure in the world of comedy and television acting, hails from Bhimavaram in the West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. His educational journey involved completing his intermediate studies and obtaining an undergraduate degree in Mining Engineering. A deep-seated passion for acting was ignited during his youth as he was an ardent admirer of Sr. NTR and Allu Rama Lingaiah. He often imitated them, entertaining his friends and fueling his enthusiasm for the performing arts.

In pursuit of a career in the movies, he ventured to Madras during his teenage years. It was there that Director Vamsi noticed his potential and offered him a role in the film “Preminchu Pelladu.”

During his initial steps in the film industry, R. Narayana Murthy played a significant role in encouraging and providing opportunities for Ramjagan. Beginning as a comedian, he gradually evolved into a versatile character actor, sharing the screen with many leading Tollywood heroes. His performance in “Mahatma” earned him the Nandi Award for Best Supporting Actor. His remarkable work can also be seen in movies like “Shock” and “Siva,” where he portrayed the role of Nagarjuna’s friend. Recognizable by his trademark bald head, he sees his baldness as a reflection of his pure heart.

In addition to comedic roles, Ramjagan has taken on villainous characters in films like “Mangala.” He aspires to explore his fortunes as a producer in the future.
