Rajesh Roshanlal Nagrath is an Indian music director and composer, recognized for his contributions to Bollywood. Born on May 24, 1955, he is the son of the renowned music director Roshan and the brother of actor-producer-director Rakesh Roshan. Rajesh Roshan gained prominence with his work on the 1974 film Kunwara Baap and the 1975 movie Julie, for which he won the Filmfare Best Music Director Award.
His notable collaborations include those with Kishore Kumar, Mohammed Rafi, and Lata Mangeshkar, producing hits for films like Des Pardes, Man Pasand, and Lootmaar. In the 1990s, his music for movies such as Karan Arjun, Papa Kehte Hai, and Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai garnered significant acclaim.
