Raj Singh Chaudhary
Biography:
Actor, playwright, and film director Raj Singh Chaudhary is from India. India’s Darjeeling is where Chaudhary was born. He started his own software company in Bangalore after pursuing a career in modeling and graduating from BMS College of Engineering with a degree in software engineering . Chaudhary seized the chance to relocate to Mumbai in order to pursue a new acting career after being duped by his business associates. After watching the movie Satya, which had a script by Anurag Kashyap, Chaudhary was motivated to write his own. He worked on his script, which centered on the practice of ragging—the physical and psychological harassment of students at educational institutions—by drawing on his experiences from his college years. Chaudhary brought his script to filmmaker Kashyap, who became his mentor, when the movie in which he was meant to appear fell through. Based on Chaudhary’s initial draft, Kashyap wrote a new screenplay for the movie Gulaal. Chaudhary received recognition for his performance as the main character. Along with his efforts on Gulaal, Chaudhary created the short tale that served as the inspiration for No Smoking and helped on the set of Black Friday while portraying a main character. His next role was in Sushil Rajpal’s 2010 film Antardwand, which took up the 2007 National Film Award for Best Film on Social Issues;
