Biography:

Indian actress Rachita Ram was born Bindhya Ram on October 3. She mostly appears in Kannada movies. One of the highest paid Kannada actresses, Rachita has won three SIIMA Awards and one Filmfare Award South. After making appearances in a number of television series, Rachita made her feature film debut in Bulbul (2013), for which she was nominated for the Kannada Filmfare Award for Best Actress. For her role in Ranna (2015), she went on to win the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress in Kannada. Successful movies like Chakravyuha (2016), Pushpaka Vimana (2017), Bharjari (2017), Ayogya (2018), Seetharama Kalyana (2019), Natasaarvabhowma (2019), Ayushman Bhava (2019), Monsoon Raaga (2022), and Kranti (2023) helped Rachita develop her career. The Tamil movie Coolie (2025) was her highest grossing release. She has performed more than fifty times as a trained classical Bharata Natyam dancer. Nithya Ram, her sister, is an actress in movies and television.
