Priyanshu Chatterjee

Biography:

Indian Bengali actor and former model Priyanshu Chatterjee was born on February 20, 1973, and is well-known for his roles in Bengali and Hindi films.  In 2001, he starred in his first Hindi movie, Tum Bin. Aapko Pehle Bhi Kahin Dekha Hai, Dil Ka Rishta, Pinjar, Bhootnath, Hate Story 3, Baadshaho, and Shikara are some of his other well-known works.

Beginning his modeling career, Priyanshu Chatterjee worked on projects for Digjam’s Print Campaign, Wills Cigarettes, Levi’s, and Four Square.  He then made an appearance in a music video for Udit Narayan.  In the romance drama Tum Bin (2001), Chatterjee made his acting debut. “Priyanshu has the meatier role and he performs it with utmost sincerity,” Bollywood Hungama commented about Chatterjee’s performance in their review of Tum Bin

Following Tum Bin’s popularity, the film’s director, Anubhav Sinha, chose to use Priyanshu Chatterjee in his upcoming film, Aapko Pehle Bhi Kahin Dekha Hai, which also starred Sakshi Shivanand, Om Puri, and Farida Jalal. He also starred in two other movies that year: Pinjar, which also starred Sandali Sinha, and Dil Ka Rishta, which costarred Aishwarya Rai. He starred in the disastrous movies Madhoshi and Woh in 2004. He played the son of Bhoothnath, who was played by Amitabh Bachchan, in the 2008 multi-star film Bhoothnath. He made a brief appearance in Hate Story 3 in 2015.
