Biography:

Preya Hirji is a film maker, writer, producer, and director hailing from the UK who has had a remarkable career in films, short films, and digital entertainment. A London-born person from a Gujarati background, she attended London Film School prior to launching her career as a film maker with a penchant for developing character-driven films featuring female characters. Her first notable appearance in the field was that of a director of the web series Love Scandals & Doctors which is a medical thriller set in India and launched in 2021 after working as a second unit director for Dark 7 White, a crime thriller that was released in 2020. Apart from her work in OTT films, Preya Hirji is also a writer, director, and producer of short films such as Cheer Up It’s Christmas and Toxic that have received awards at international film festivals.
