Praveen Tej

Biography:

Lakshmana Gowda and Padmavathi welcomed Praveen Tej into the world on December 3, 1984, in Hosanagara, Shimoga district. In the 2009 film Jolly Days, he made his Kannada cinema debut as Praveena, one of the main characters. Later, he appeared in Pyate Mandi Kadige Bandru, a Kannada reality show on Suvarna TV (2011).  He performed in the Zee Kannada television serial Radha Kalyana (2012).

Later, Praveen played Krishna in Anney Santhosh Gowda’s 2013 film Aantharya. In the 2016 movie Simpallag Innondh Love Story, a follow-up to the popular Kannada film Simple Agi Ondh Love Story, he portrayed Kush. His other movies are Kuchiku Kuchiku (2018) and 5G (2017). The 2018 criminal thriller Churikatte was his subsequent film. He appeared in the 2019 movie Striker. Mundina Nildana (2019), his subsequent film, was a success. In 2014, Praveen wed Deepika Nazre, with whom he has a son.
