Pranathi is an Indian actress and former model. She had an appearance in a Malayalam movie and received praise from critics for her role in the Tamil movie (2004). She then made appearances in a couple movies in Kannada and Tamil. On April 19, 1987, Malayalam actor Jose and Ratnaprabha welcome Pranathi into the world. She wed Dr. Shivarajan in September of 2011.
Pranathi started out as a model. In the 2001 Miss South India beauty pageant, she took home the titles of Miss Beautiful Hair and Miss Best of Kochi. After completing her education at the Ooty residential school St. George’s Homes, she started her career in movies.
Pranathi debuted as an actress in Jayaraj’s critically acclaimed Malayalam film 4 the People (2004), costarring Bharath. Reports said that the two were dating in 2005 while working with actor Jai Akash on the films Gurudeva and Kaatru Ullavarai.
In 2005, the year of her greatest success, she also starred in two Kannada films: Santosha, starring Sathyaraj, and Vanakkam Thalaiva. Not being able to get any further offers, she left the film industry shortly after.
