Biography:

Prajakta Mali, born on August 8, 1989, in Pandharpur and raised in Pune, is an accomplished Indian actress known for her contributions to Marathi cinema and television. Her journey began with success in dance reality shows, winning the Hindi competition “Kya Masti Kya Dhoom” at just 14 years old.

In 2004, Prajakta made her acting debut with a small role in Shah Rukh Khan’s film “Swades.” She expanded her presence to Marathi cinema with a childhood role in “Taandala – Ek Mukhavta” in 2008, marking the beginning of her film career.

Her television debut occurred in 2008 with “Firuni Navi Janmen Mi.” However, it was her notable role in the Marathi daily soap “Suvasini” in 2011 that brought her recognition in the television domain.

Prajakta achieved widespread acclaim for her role in “Julun Yeti Reshimgathi” in 2013, further solidifying her status as a prominent figure in Marathi entertainment.

Driven by her passion for the arts, Prajakta pursued education in Performing Arts with a focus on Bharatnatyam at Lalit Kala Kendra, Pune University. Her dedication and talent were recognized with a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture for advanced studies in Bharatnatyam.
