Pooja Chopra is a multifaceted Indian personality known for her achievements in the fields of acting, modeling, and beauty pageantry. She rose to prominence after winning the prestigious title of Femina Miss India World in 2009, which led her to represent India at the Miss World 2009 pageant. At the international stage, Chopra made history by becoming the first Indian to clinch the coveted “Beauty with a Purpose” title at the Miss World competition.

In addition to her successful stint in beauty pageants, Pooja Chopra has carved a niche for herself in the Indian film industry. Her breakthrough role came in the action-packed film “Commando: A One Man Army,” which garnered her widespread acclaim. Since then, she has showcased her acting prowess in various films, earning accolades and recognition for her performances.

Born in Kolkata, West Bengal, Pooja Chopra faced early challenges, having been abandoned by her father at birth due to gender preferences. She pursued her education at Mount Carmel Convent High School and later graduated from Ness Wadia College in Pune, Maharashtra. Currently residing in Pune, Chopra shares a close bond with her older sister, Shubhra Chopra.
