Nivas Adithan

Biography:

Indian actor Nivas Adithan has acted in Tamil-language films and television series. Among his notable roles are those of Regina, Taramani, Kaaka Muttai, Chithiram Pesuthadi 2, Radiopetti, and Naanga. Adithan, a seasoned producer and performer, is the father of Nivas. Born in Karaikal, Puducherry, India, Nivas Adithan came from a family with a history in the film business; his father, Adithan, was a producer and performer.

Following a 2010 performance on the dance show Maanada Mayilada, choreographer Kala Master suggested him for acting possibilities. Later, Nivas played one of the lead roles in Selva’s Naanga, which marked his acting debut in Tamil film.

Additionally, Nivas performed “behind the scenes” in Thanga Meenkal by Ram. He starred in the highly regarded Kaaka Muttai (The Crow’s Egg) in 2015.  Additionally, he had a supporting part in Radiopetti, which took up the KNN Audience prize at the 2015 Busan International Film Festival.
