Nigam Bomzam, an Indian cinematographer primarily active in the Hindi film industry, is contemplating venturing into Hollywood. Despite hailing from a non-cinema background, Bomzam has made significant strides in his career. He received his schooling at Vidya Vikash Academy in Darjeeling and pursued his graduation at Zakir Hussain College in New Delhi.
Bomzam’s portfolio boasts several notable films including “Ada… The Way of Life,” “Blood Money,” “Jism 2,” “Khamoshiyan,” “Great Grand Masti,” “Poster Boys,” and “Paltan.” “Poster Boys,” directed by the eminent filmmaker Shreyas Talpade, and “Paltan,” helmed by the versatile director J.P. Dutta, stand out among his credits.
In 1999, Bomzam’s talent caught the attention of filmmaker Kabir Khan when he captured a compelling image at a Talent Hunt Contest in Delhi. This led to his collaboration with Khan, assisting in shooting a war documentary. His contributions extend to films such as “Paap,” “Rog,” and “Kabul Express.”
