Nayana Shyam is an accomplished filmmaker, writer, and director in India who works in the field of Hindi digital entertainment, marketing, and advertising. She started her career at FilterCopy and Dice Media, where she directed numerous web series and sketches, earning respect for her relaxed manner of storytelling and modern directing style. Her biggest success came with the highly praised series Adulting, where she served as both a writer and director, illustrating the lifestyle of young women in the workforce.

In this show, she made herself prominent in the OTT industry by directing romantic drama Please Find Attached (2020), setting up workplace conditions, Firsts (2020) – the first ever Instagram series in India and Sisterhood (2024), depicting the life of school girls – regarding their fears, dreams, and friendships. Moreover, the list of her projects includes promoting different companies such as Samsung, Aditya Birla, Nykaa, and Lifestyle through advertisement films.
