Naveen Kaushik

Biography:

Delhi-born actor Naveen Kaushik began performing in Delhi theaters in 1999 at the age of 17. Before joining Act One Art Group in 2002, he performed with a number of organizations in the Delhi college theater circuit after spending a summer studying and performing with The Theatre Action Group (TAG) under Barry John’s guidance. Naveen started his acting instruction under Mr. NK Sharma, which eventually led to his relocation to Mumbai in 2009. Naveen, a doctor’s son, was constantly active in school extracurricular activities. He found his love for all things artistic and performance-driven while attending Delhi’s General Raj’s School.

The role of Nitin Rathode in “Rocket Singh – Salesman of the Year” was Naveen’s first major break in the movie business, which he obtained by chance meeting Abhimanyu Ray at the YRF Studios casting office. Since then, he has worked on nearly fifteen films and three television and web series.

Naveen divides his time between managing India’s premier improvisational education and performance school, Improv Comedy Mumbai (ICM), and performing roles. He has performed, taught, and represented India at international improv festivals in North America and Europe as a member of the top Indian improv team.
