Naveen Kasturia

Biography:

Naveen Kasturia is an Indian actor and an assistant director who works in Hindi movies and digital entertainment. He started his career in filmmaking as an assistant director, working with Vishesh Films and then assisting well-known filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee for movies like Love Sex Aur Dhokha in 2010 and Shanghai in 2012. He took up acting through the independent movie Sulemani Keeda in 2014, where he played Dulal and got appreciated for his performance, thus marking the start of his career as an actor.

Naveen became famous for his role in The Viral Fever’s popular web series TVF Pitchers (2015), in which he was seen playing the character of Naveen Bansal, an entrepreneur dealing with all the problems of starting a new venture. His performance in Aspirants in 2021 as Abhilash Sharma earned him the status of being one of the most relatable actors in the Indian OTT industry. He has worked in shows like Bose: Dead/Alive, Breathe: Into the Shadows, Thinkistan, Runaway Lugaai, Aapkey Kamrey Mein Koi Rehta Hai, Pitchers Season 2, and Sapne vs Everyone.

Famous for his realistic acting technique and portrayal of common man’s roles, Naveen Kasturia has emerged as an important personality of the OTT generation of India.
