Nathan Mitchell (born December 6, 1988) is a Canadian actor best known for portraying Earving/Black Noir and Black Noir II in Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys (2019–present), based on the comic book series of the same name. He is also recognized for his role as Zion Miller in the Netflix series Ginny & Georgia (2021–present).
Born in Mississauga, Ontario, Mitchell is of Trinidadian and Jamaican descent. He began his acting career in 2007 with a recurring role on Aliens in America and later appeared in various TV series, including Arrow, The Tomorrow People, Timeless, iZombie, and Supernatural. He also starred in the 2018 film Scorched Earth.
In 2019, Mitchell joined The Boys as Black Noir, with his real-life severe tree nut allergy being incorporated into the character. Although Black Noir was killed in the third season finale, Mitchell returned in season four as “Black Noir II,” an actor playing the in-universe replacement for the original character.
