Nate Torrence

Biography:

On December 1, 1977, Torrence was born Nate Torrence in Canton, Ohio, parents Kathy (“ Travers) and Bernie Torrence, where he started school. Torrence attended Berlin, Ohio’s Hiland High School before enrolling at Kent State University’s Stark Campus. In the past, his family ran a bed and breakfast in Berlin. Torrence started traveling with a comedic group called Corn, Beef and Cabbage, where he wrote, improvised, and acted alongside his older brother Jay and friend Josh Ruth, after attending Second City’s Players Workshop in Chicago, Illinois. Torrence also studied improv at The Groundlings and Comedy Sportz in Los Angeles, as well as Second City in Cleveland and Los Angeles.
