N.S. Rajkumar

Biography:

N.S. Rajkumar is a distributor and producer of South Indian films. His regional Kannada-language films, Myna and Mythri, are his most well-known work For his contributions to the Kannada cinema industry, he has also been nominated for and won multiple Filmfare, SIIMA, and Karnataka State cinema awards

Rajkumar has spent the last forty years employed in the Kannada film industry. He attended Kesari Higher Secondary School in Chennai for his education. He started out in the film business in the early 1990s as an assistant cameraman and production manager. After serving as a technician in the field, he made the bold decision to produce successful Kannada serials like Thulasi, Godhooli, and Vathsalya. He then went on to produce Kaamannana Makkalu, his first feature film. He and Puneeth Rajkumar worked together on the movies Prithvi and Mythri in the ensuing years.
