Telangana state politician Motkupalli Narsimhulu. In the united state of Andhra Pradesh, he held the position of minister. He had a lengthy career in the Telugu Desam Party. In the 2018 Telangana Assembly by-elections, Aleru ran as a candidate for the Bahujan Left Front (BLF) and lost.
After defeating Sallur Posaiah, the Congress candidate, Motkupalli Narsimhulu ran for the Aleru Legislative Assembly seat for the first time as an independent in 1983 and was elected as an MLA.
In 1983, when NTR established the Telugu Desam Party, Motkupalli Narsimhulu became a member of the TDP. He ran for office in 1985 as an Aleru candidate for Telugu Desam and defeated Congress rival Chettupalli Kennedy to win a second term as an MLA.
As an independent, Narsimhu ran against PV Narasimha Rao in the 1991 Nandyala Lok Sabha by-election but was defeated. Motkupalli was kicked out of the Telugu Desam Party on May 28, 2018, for his opposition to TDP President Chandrababu Naidu’s position on Telangana creation.
Motkupalli Narsimhulu became a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party on November 4, 2019, and he left the party on July 23, 2021. On October 18, 2021, in Telangana Bhavan, Motkupalli Narsimhulu became a member of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi party in the presence of Chief Minister KCR and the President of the party.
On October 27, 2023, in Delhi, he joined the Congress party in the presence of Mallikarjun Kharge, the national president of the Congress party, despite being dissatisfied with the party’s leadership after joining the BRS. He refrained from participating in party events.
