Minnie Mills

Biography:

American model and actress Minnie Mills was born in London and currently resides in New York. She is most recognised for her role as Shayla in the television series The Summer I Turned Pretty, which is based on the same-titled novel by Jenny Han. Since she was a young child, Mills, who majored in behavioural and biomedical neuroscience at Columbia University, has been a fervent advocate for the human rights of North Korean inhabitants. Additionally, she has worked closely with the North Korean NGO Liberty.
