Biography:

Mika Singh, originally named Amrik Singh, entered the world on June 10, 1977, in Durgapur, West Bengal. Renowned across India as a multifaceted artist, Mika has made significant contributions as a singer, composer, music director, and producer. His repertoire boasts chart-topping tracks such as “Bas Ek King” from the movie Singh Is Kinng, the energetic “Mauja Hi Mauja” featured in Jab We Met, the catchy “Ibn-e-Batuta” from Ishqiya, and the lively “Dhanno” in the film Housefull. Beyond these, Mika has released numerous solo albums, solidifying his place in the music industry.

His upbringing was within a large family of eight siblings, wherein he stood as the youngest among two daughters and six sons. The influence of his father, Ajmer Singh, a proficient classical musician renowned for his performances of kirtans at Patna Sahib Gurdwara, deeply impacted Mika’s musical journey. Alongside his elder brother Daler Mehndi, Mika soaked in the melodies and rhythms of music from a tender age, nurturing an inherent passion for the art form.
