Biography:

Michael Caine is an award-winning English actor, writer, and film producer known for a remarkable career that has lasted more than seven decades. One of the best British actors, he gained international recognition with films such as Zulu (1964), The Ipcress File (1965), and Alfie (1966), and went on to become an outstanding leading actor in various genres. Some of his best movies include The Italian Job, Get Carter, Educating Rita, Hannah and Her Sisters, The Cider House Rules, Miss Congeniality, Children of Men, The Prestige, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception, Interstellar, Youth, and The Great Escaper. He won two Oscars for Best Supporting Actor for Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) and The Cider House Rules (1999). Besides winning Academy Awards, he has been nominated for many BAFTA, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild Awards. Famous for his unique voice, natural acting style, and versatility, Caine played many diverse characters – from working class and elegant gentlemen to villains and wise mentors.
