Mansoor Khan

Biography:

Indian filmmaker and producer Mohammed Mansoor Hussain Khan was born on May 30, 1958, and is well-known for his work in Hindi cinema. He is the son of Nasir Hussain, a filmmaker. Before entering the Hindi film industry, Khan studied at MIT, Cornell University, and IIT Bombay.

Khan and his wife Tina have settled in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, where he enjoys farming.Their daughter, Zayn Marie, is an actress, and their son, Pablo Khan, made his feature film debut with the smash hit Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988), for which Khan won both his sole Filmfare Award for Best Director and the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.The musical love genre in Hindi cinema was revived thanks to Mansoor Khan’s directing debut.
