Biography:

Manoj Kumar Khatoi, an Indian cinematographer renowned for his work in films and OTT platforms such as “Notebook,” “The Fame Game,” and “Uunchai.”

“Uunchai” (2022) revolves around friendship and challenges as three friends embark on a journey to climb Mount Everest to fulfill a friend’s last wish.

In “Mismatched season 2” (2022), Khatoi addresses issues among youngsters like panic attacks, anger management, and sexuality, keeping the audience engaged. His exceptional framing techniques are evident in “The Fame Game” (2022).

“Notebook” (2019), a unique love story set in the mesmerizing beauty of Kashmir, captures the innocence of children and the chemistry between distant lovers. In addition, Khatoi has worked on popular films like “Jawaani Jaaneman,” “Mitron,” “B.Tech,” and “Classmates.”

Khatoi’s work extends beyond Bollywood to Tamil, Malayalam, and Marathi cinema. Born and raised in Konark, Odisha, he began his filmmaking journey in Mumbai in 2002 after completing his course at the Biju Pattanaik Film and Television Institute of Odisha. His film “Budhia Singh – Born to Run,” starring Manoj Bajpayee, received a National Film Award.
