Indian actor Harmeet Singh Mamik, better known by his stage name Mamik, has acted in a few Hindi-language films in addition to television. His most well-known roles include those in television series like Woh (1998), Ssshhhh…Koi Hai (2002), Vikraal Aur Gabraal (2003), Black (2009), Star One Horror Nights (2010), and Who’s Your Daddy (Season 2) (2020), as well as motion pictures like Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1992) and Kya Kehna (2000).
The well-known Indian actor Harmeet Singh Mamik, better known by his stage name Mamik Singh, was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, on May 3, 1963. He began his modeling career after graduating with a degree in business and working for an advertising firm, or ad agency. He appeared in advertisements for Sona Milk, Kinetic, Red Bull, and numerous other brands.
Mamik made his acting debut as Ratan, the older brother of Aamir Khan, in the 1992 movie Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. Mansoor Khan, the director, chose him for the part in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. Despite the success of the movie, Mamik didn’t take on any more film work for five years since she thought the projects weren’t important.
He therefore began to work on TV serials more. He did, however, make appearances in three other films in 1997: Aar Ya Paar, Dil Ke Jharokhe Mein, and Koi Kisise Kum Nahin, in addition to Kundan Shah’s Kya Kehna (2000). He appeared in numerous television shows, including Champion, Chandrakanta, Woh, Saturday Suspense, Sadma, Saahil, Maal Hai To Taal Hai, and Aa Gale Lag Ja.
Mamik received praise for his role as the ghostbuster Vikraal in Ssshhhh…Koi Hai in 2002. He starred as ACP Saket Sahani in Kkusum that same year. Later, he starred in Black (Kaala Saaya), which aired on 9X/Sahara One, and Chandramukhi on DD1. He was in Kahani Chandrakanta Ki as well.
He made an appearance on Life OK’s Savdhaan India and as a party guest on the eighth season of Bigg Boss in 2014. Do Lafzon Ki Kahani, a 2016 film directed by Deepak Tijori, was signed by Mamik to Pen Movies in 2015. In 2015 and 2016, Mamik starred in Agent Raghav: Crime Branch, Jaanbaaz Sindbad, and Mayavi Maling.
