Biography:

Maheswari, a renowned actress in the South Indian film industry, was born and raised in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, on August 26. She received her education at Adarsh Vidyalaya, T. Nagar. Maheswari has made a significant impact in both Telugu and Tamil cinema, and interestingly, she is the cousin of the well-known South Indian actress Sridevi.

Her marriage to Jayakrishnan, a Software Engineer and owner of Digital Securities Company in Hyderabad, took place on September 18, 2008, at Thirupathi. The star-studded wedding ceremony saw the attendance of popular personalities such as Bony Kapoor, Meena, Sridevi, Ram Gopal Varma, SV Krishna Reddy, Arun Kumar, Sangeetha, and many more.

Maheswari entered the film industry in 1994 with the Hindi action crime film, “Krantiveer,” followed by the Tamil film “Karuththamma” in the same year. Her breakthrough came with the Telugu film “Gulabi” in 1995, where she played the lead role of Pooja alongside actor J. D. Chakravarthi. This marked the beginning of a successful career, and she received numerous offers in the industry.

Notable films in her career include “Deyyam” (1996), a horror film directed by Ram Gopal Varma, and “Nee Kosam” (1999), where her portrayal of the wealthy Sasirekha earned her the Nandi Award for Best Actress. Maheswari also gained recognition in the Tamil film industry, particularly with her role in “Ullaasam” (1997).
