From the age of 9 to 14, she also sent him to piano lessons, during which time he started learning classical singing. He acted in his first play at the age of 15 and participated in plays and class musicals during his time in high school. He played Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady and played the lead part of Brindsley Miller in a production of Peter Shaffer’s one-act drama Black Comedy during his final year.
