Kristen Connolly

Biography:

American actress Kristen Connolly was born on July 12, 1980. She is well-known for her parts as Jamie Campbell on the CBS series Zoo, Christina Gallagher in the Netflix series House of Cards, and Dana Polk in the 2011 movie The Cabin in the Woods.

Recurring parts on multiple CollegeHumor digital shorts marked the beginning of Connolly’s career. She made appearances as an extra in the films The Happening, Meet Dave, and Mona Lisa Smile. Additionally, she had recurrent appearances on two CBS daytime serial operas: As the World Turns and Guiding Light.

After playing the lead character Dana in the Joss Whedon/Drew Goddard movie The Cabin in the Woods, she first became well-known in 2012. The Bay, a horror movie, also starred her. She starred in the Netflix series House of Cards in 2013 as Christina Gallagher. The A&E Houdini miniseries, in which Connolly plays Bess Houdini and Academy Award-winning Adrien Brody plays Harry Houdini, debuted on September 1, 2014, with 3.7 million viewers. In the CBS drama-thriller series Zoo, Connolly again played an enthusiastic journalist named Jamie and co-starred in the drama series The Whispers as Lena. She played Petra Anderson in the drama-thriller movie A Good Marriage (2014), which was based on the same-titled short tale by Stephen King.
