Biography:

Krishna Kumar, also known as K, is an Indian music composer known for his work in various film industries. He attended Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan in Chennai for his schooling and later pursued a degree in genetic engineering from SRM University.

K began his musical journey by playing the keyboard in his school days and achieving Grade 8 certification in music from the Trinity College of Music, London. He initially played with rock bands before transitioning to composing jingles for advertisements and corporate films.

His breakthrough in the film industry came in 2010 when he composed the soundtrack for director Mysskin’s film “Yuddham Sei,” which was well-received. He continued to gain recognition with compositions for films like “Mugamoodi,” “Annayum Rasoolum,” and the Hindi remake of “Pizza.”

K’s talent for composing background scores was highlighted in films like “Kammatipaadam” and “Aandavan Kattalai.” He also ventured into acting with the film “Kallapadam.”

His work has been praised for its unique blend of musical styles and its ability to enhance the storytelling in films. K has received widespread appreciation for his contributions to various film projects across different languages and genres.
