Dasarath Kumar, widely recognized as Dasaradh, is a prominent figure in Telugu cinema, contributing significantly as a director and screenwriter. Born on June 5, 1971, into a Telugu Brahmin family in Khammam, Telangana, Dasaradh ventured into the world of entertainment with a diverse skill set and a background in television.

Before making his mark in the film industry, Dasaradh honed his skills in screenplay and dialogue writing, collaborating with renowned author Yandamuri Veerendranath on several successful soap operas for TV Media. Notably, one of his series, “Vennello Aada Pilla,” aired on Doordarshan, Andhra Pradesh, achieving commercial success and establishing his storytelling prowess.

His journey in cinema began as an associate director for various notable films like Veera Shankar’s “Hello I Love You,” Tulasi Kumar’s “Harischandra,” and Teja’s acclaimed works such as “Chitram,” “Nuvvu Nenu,” and “Family Circus.” Dasaradh’s experience in these roles laid a strong foundation for his eventual transition into directing and writing.
