Irish actor Cillian Damien Murphy, better known by his stage name Killian Scott, was born on July 10, 1985. He initially gained notoriety for playing Tommy in the Love/Hate (2010–2014) RTÉ One series. In the Netflix series Kaos (2024), he plays Orpheus.
Growing up in Sandymount, Dublin, Scott was the youngest of six children and went to St. Michael’s College on Ailesbury Road in Dublin 4. Colin Murphy, a dramatist, and Eoghan Murphy, a former politician, are his siblings. His brother Eoghan’s performance in a school rendition of Hamlet sparked his interest in acting. Before relocating to London to attend the Drama Centre, he studied philosophy and English at University College Dublin.
