Kiku Sharda, whose real name is Raghavendra Amarnath Sharda, is an Indian comedian and actor known for his work in Hindi television and films. He gained popularity for his portrayal of Constable Mulayam Singh Gulgule in Sony SAB’s comedy series F.I.R. and for his various characters on Comedy Nights with Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show.
Born on February 14, 1976, in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, Kiku hails from a business family. He completed his schooling from Don Bosco High School in Mumbai in 1992. Later, he graduated from the Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics in 1997 and earned a PGDBM from Chetana’s Institute of Management Studies and Research in 1998.
In his personal life, Kiku has been married to Priyanka Sharda since 2002, and the couple has two sons.
Kiku Sharda’s career has seen him play diverse roles, including Hobo in Hatim and Akbar in Akbar Birbal. However, his most iconic character remains Constable Mulayam Singh Gulgule in F.I.R. He has also showcased his talent on reality shows like Nach Baliye 6 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7.
In January 2016, Kiku Sharda faced controversy when he was arrested for mimicking Dera Sacha Sauda head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh on a television channel. The portrayal, in which Kiku dressed as a baba, was deemed disrespectful and led to legal action.
