Joseph Aaron Carnahan

Biography:

American filmmaker, screenwriter, producer, and occasional actor Joseph Aaron Carnahan was born on May 9, 1969. His films include Blood, Guts, Bullets and Octane, Narc, Smokin’ Aces, The A-Team, The Gray, and Boss Level. Additionally, he directed and scripted multiple episodes of the NBC television show The Blacklist. Carnahan was raised in Shepherd, Michigan, after being born in Dover, Delaware. When he was a teenager, his parents relocated to Fairfield, California.[2] In 1987, Carnahan completed his education at Fairfield High School. After a year at San Francisco State University, he transferred to California State University, Sacramento, where he graduated with a B.A. in cinematography.[5] Carnahan eventually worked as a producer of television commercials and short films in Sacramento’s KMAX-TV Promotional Department.
