Joji John, Hailing from Mundakayam in the Kottayam district, Joji John is the son of K. J. John and Lusamma John. After completing his schooling, he earned a BA in Communicative Journalism and began his career at the Janmabhoomi newspaper in Ernakulam. He later ventured into the entertainment industry, starting as an assistant director in television serials before working in Malayalam cinema. However, several of the films he contributed to did not get released.

In the film, Joji John himself was cast as Jason, the elder brother.
Joji has also directed a short film titled Elesyan, featuring Tiny Tom and Tara Kalyan. He resides in Mundakayam with his wife, Sharmil Joji, and their two children, Johan and Jovon.
