Jitin Gulati is an Indian actor and model known for his roles in popular web series such as Chhatrasal, Zindagi inShort, Inside Edge, Thinkistan, and Broken But Beautiful. After completing his education, he worked at HDFC Bank in Mumbai for eight years before deciding to pursue a career in acting and modeling by training at Barry John Acting Studio. In an interview, he revealed that financial constraints led him to initially choose a banking career.
Gulati made his acting debut in 2010 as Andy in the short film Amen, directed, written, and produced by Judhajit Bagchi and Ranadeep Bhattacharyya. He appeared in the 2012 short film Looking For Gay Bollywood and later acted in Angry Indian Goddesses in 2015. In 2017, he featured in the movie Qaidi Band and portrayed ‘Z’ in the award-winning silent LGBTQ film Sisak, written and directed by Faraz Arif Ansari. This groundbreaking film won 59 international awards. Additionally, he had a minor role in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016).
Between 2018 and 2020, Gulati starred in notable web series, including Broken But Beautiful, Prithvi Vallabh: Itihaas Bhi, Rahasya Bhi, Thinkistan as Shaayan, and Zindagi inShort. In 2021, he played Shahnawaz in Faraz Arif Ansari’s short LGBTQ romance film Sheer Qorma and appeared in the historical drama Chhatrasal, which earned nominations at the 2021 Filmfare OTT Awards.
In 2022, Gulati portrayed Sukesh Sood in the series Salt City. His 2023 performances include roles as Saadiq Kadri in Bambai Meri Jaan and Balwant Bir Rana in Kaala.
In addition to his acting career, Jitin Gulati is a visiting professor teaching banking and finance at a prestigious business school in Mumbai. He is also a skilled dancer, having trained for over seven years under renowned choreographer Ashley Lobo.
