Jim Jefferies

Biography:

In February 1977, Jefferies was born Geoff James Nugent in Sydney, Australia. His father was a cabinet maker and maintenance worker from Roma, Queensland, while his mother was a substitute teacher. After growing up in Sydney, Jefferies relocated to Perth to attend the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts to study classical music and musical theatre, but he departed a few months before he was set to graduate. His two older brothers are Daniel, an inspector in the Public Order and Riot Squad of the New South Wales Police Force, and Scott, an investment banker.
