Jeremy Benning

Biography:

Jeremy has gained recognition for his work in both narrative and documentary series over the years, with his projects airing on major platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC, Discovery, National Geographic, and the History Channel, as well as being showcased in festivals around the globe. This diverse portfolio is a reflection of his equally varied and hands-on career background. With more than sixteen years of experience as a Steadicam operator, Jeremy was also an early adopter of digital capture technologies, which allowed him to stay ahead of industry trends. His passion for capturing moments started long before motion pictures, as he began creating candid street photo essays at just eleven years old.

A firm believer in the value of a well-rounded life, Jeremy is also dedicated to giving back to the community. He is an active board member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers and takes pride in his support for the LGBTQS+ community.
