Biography:

Jayprad Desai is a versatile Indian filmmaker, writer, and director with experience in working in the Marathi and Hindi film industry along with digital content creation. He started his career as a director through Kagar (2019), an authentic and realistic movie based on the life of young men in rural areas and belonging to the Marathi genre of movies. Entering the world of OTT content, Desai received recognition through directing some popular web series like Kaun Banegi Shikharwati (2022) and Rana Naidu (Season 2). Besides working in comedies and dramas, he directed Netflix thriller Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba (2024). The director is recognized for his exciting storylines and character development skills that make him one of the most promising contemporary directors in Indian entertainment.
