Producer Jayesh Patel discusses the difficulties in releasing the upcoming horror-comedy film Kapkapiii, which stars Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor, following the death of Sangeeth Sivan, as well as the difficulties encountered during post-production.
Patel discusses Sangeeth Sivan’s concept for the movie, saying, “Sangeeth Sivan was a director with a distinctive creative voice, and Kapkapiii was built on his vision. He had, thankfully, previously given his approval to the initial edit and had had thorough conversations with each Head of Department (HOD) since post-production started.
“Everyone, including the editors and sound designers, understood exactly what he intended because of his clarity and enthusiasm for the project. To make sure the movie remained loyal to his intentions, we mostly relied on his notes, our earlier discussions, and the advice of his reliable associates.
