Jayan Cherthala

Biography:

Indian actor Jayan Cherthala performs in Malayalam films. He hails from Cherthala, which is in Kerala, India, close to Alappuzha. He has acted in over two dozen Malayalam films and television shows. He is the state president of the AITUC-affiliated Kerala Sarva Kala Sangam (KSKS).

Raveendranathan Nair, Jayan’s father, was a teacher. Both his sister Sindhu and mother Sarala Bai are educators. His stage name was inspired by Cherthala, the village from which he hails. He has a kid named Karthik Shiva with his wife, Jayasree.
