Biography:

Janki Bodiwala , born October 30, 1995 is an Indian actress primarily known for her work in Gujarati cinema. She gained recognition for her roles in films such as Chhello Divas (2015), Chhutti Jashe Chhakka (2018), Naadi Dosh (2022), and Vash (2023). She debuted in Bollywood with the 2024 film Shaitaan.

Born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, to Bharat and Kashmira Bodiwala, Janki has a brother, Dhrupad Bodiwala. She completed her schooling at M.K. Secondary & Higher Secondary School, Ahmedabad, and earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from Goenka Research Institute of Dental Science, Gandhinagar. In 2019, she was a top 3 finalist in the Miss India Gujarat category of the Miss India competition.

Janki’s acting career began with the Gujarati film Chhello Divas, written and directed by Krishnadev Yagnik. Released on November 20, 2015, the film was a critical and commercial success, screening in 231 theaters worldwide.

In 2017, she featured in films like O! Taareee, Tamburo, and Daud Pakad. Her subsequent projects included Chhutti Jashe Chhakka (2018), Tari Maate Once More (2018), and Bau Na Vichaar (2019). In 2022, she appeared in Naadi Dosh, alongside Yash Soni, and delivered a highly praised performance in the 2023 blockbuster Vash.

In 2024, Janki ventured into Hindi cinema with Vikas Bahl’s Shaitaan, co-starring Ajay Devgn, Jyothika, and R. Madhavan. The film, a remake of Vash, saw her reprising her role as Aarya, renamed Jahnvi Rishi in this adaptation.

Janki was ranked 50th in The Times Most Desirable Women list in 2019.
