American actress Jackie Chung was born on July 10, 1979, and is most known for her portrayal as Laurel Park in the 2022 Amazon series The Summer I Turned Pretty. She has been on television shows like Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19. Stanford University awarded Chung a bachelor’s degree in fine arts. Chung started out in theatre.
In the 2005 short film Take It or Leave It?, she made her movie debut as JC. She appeared as a guest star on a Finding My America program in 2006. Chung played Kat/Yoo Jin in the 2015 drama-thriller short film Someone Else, which was about two Korean American cousins. In a 2015 episode of the Hulu series Deadbeat, she also played Kamiko Nakamura.

Up to 2025, the show ran for three seasons. Louis Ozawa Changchien, an American actor, is Chung’s spouse. They are parents of two kids.
