Biography:

Jack Henry Quaid, born on April 24, 1992, is an American actor best known for his role as Hughie Campbell in The Boys (2019–present). He made his film debut in The Hunger Games (2012) with a minor role before gaining recognition in television and film. Quaid has voiced characters like Brad Boimler in Star Trek: Lower Decks (2020–2024) and Superman in My Adventures with Superman (2023–present). His film credits include Logan Lucky (2017), Scream (2022), and a portrayal of physicist Richard Feynman in Oppenheimer (2023).

Born in Los Angeles to actors Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid, Jack grew up in the entertainment industry but aimed to establish his own career. He studied at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts for three years and was involved in sketch comedy through the group Sasquatch Sketch. In his early career, he worked on independent projects, including his crowdfunded film Roadies.

Quaid starred in the short-lived HBO series Vinyl (2016) and appeared in films like Tragedy Girls (2017) before landing his breakthrough role in The Boys. He has since expanded his work into voice acting and comedy. He had a cameo as Boimler in a Star Trek: Strange New Worlds crossover and played a physicist in Oppenheimer (2023).

Regarding his personal life, Quaid dated actress Lizzy McGroder from 2016 to 2021 and confirmed in 2024 that he is in a relationship with The Boys co-star Claudia Doumit. In a 2024 interview, he acknowledged the “nepo baby” label, recognizing his industry connections while emphasizing his efforts to succeed independently. His mother defended his talent and work ethic against the label’s criticism.
