Ihana Dhillon

Biography:

Indian actress Ihana Dhillon works in the Hindi and Punjabi cinema industries. The 2018 film Hate Story 4 marked her Bollywood debut. Her success in Punjabi films like Daddy Cool Munde Fool (2013) and Thug Life (2017) can be attributed to her linguistic skills. She most recently starred in Smeep Kang’s Gol Gappe in 2023 and appeared in Radhe in 2021.

Following graduation, she worked at the Hotel Crown Plaza in Atlanta, where a modeling agency saw her appearance and gave her a job offer. She made her cinematic debut in Daddy Cool Munde Fool in 2013, and her portrayal of Minki, a small-town girl who looks out for her mother’s wants and well-being, earned her praise in the Punjabi film industry.

In the 2016 film Tiger, starring Sippy Gill, she played Ekum Khanna, a Canadian journalist who travels to Jangpura to learn more about how women cope with drug-addicted males. She portrayed Ruchi, a poor actress who eventually joins a gang of three men to commit fraud, in the film Thug Life.

In 2018, she made her Bollywood debut in the film Hate Story IV, which was directed by Vishal Pandya and starred Karan Wahi as Rishma with Urvashi Rautela and Vivan Bhatena. Dhillon is currently actively working in the Hindi and Punjabi cinema industries. She starred in the Punjabi movie Blackia in 2019, which received a Best Picture nomination at the PTC Punjabi Film Awards.

Dhillon debuted digitally in Hindi in June 2020 with the Ullu Original web series Kasak. In 2020, she made appearances in four songs: Meri Aashiqui and Bewafa Tera Masoom Chehra in Hindi and Baarish and Khaas in Punjabi. Dhillon had several releases in 2021, including Bhuj: The Pride of India on Disney+ Hotstar on August 13, 2021, and Radhe, which starred Salman Khan and debuted on Zed 5 in May 2021. She costarred with Raj Babbar and Jaya Prada in the Punjabi film Bhoot Uncle Tusi Great Ho, which was released in theaters on August 25, 2022.
