Ian Bryce is an English film producer who was born on November 30, 1956. He began working as a production assistant on Return of the Jedi in 1983 and has subsequently produced movies such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Spider-Man, Transformers, Twister, Saving Private Ryan, and The Island. His films have made $7 billion globally, placing him as the 14th highest-grossing film producer as of 2025, according to The Numbers.
For his efforts as a producer, Bryce has received numerous accolades and been nominated for others, including several Golden Globes, Academy Awards, and BAFTA nominations. Steven Spielberg received nominations from the Academy Awards and BAFTA for his World War II drama Saving Private Ryan, as well as a Golden Globe Award. The latter was 1998’s second highest grossing movie. In 2000, Bryce’s other film, Almost Famous, won a BAFTA for Best Film. In the Michael Bay Transformers series, one of the highest-grossing movie franchises of the twenty-first century, Bryce co-produced each movie.
