Hunter Doohan

Biography:

Hunter Doohan, born on January 18, 1994, is an American actor, writer, and director, recognized for his roles in Your Honor (2020), Wednesday (2022), and Daredevil: Born Again (2025).

Raised primarily in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Doohan moved around the southern U.S. during his upbringing. His passion for acting began through participation in high school and community theatre. After graduating, he interned at Elizabeth Barnes Casting in Los Angeles and held various day jobs—including working as a background extra, waiter, and Universal Studios tour guide—while studying acting and attending auditions.

He first gained attention playing the younger version of Warren Cave (Aaron Paul’s character) in the 2019 Apple TV+ series Truth Be Told. His breakout main role came in 2020 as Adam Desiato in the legal drama Your Honor. In 2022, he starred as Tyler Galpin in the Netflix series Wednesday.

Doohan is the son of late Australian tennis player Peter Doohan and Angie Harper Carmichael. He identifies as queer and has been married to producer Fielder Jewett since June 2022. He also has an older brother who works as a tennis coach.
